Azure Standard is my favorite place to shop. It isn't for everyone. I love shopping for several weeks - adding things as I think of them. Then right before the cut off date for the order, I will go back and tweak it and see which things I can mark off. I try to keep my order around $500 or less per month. I will go over if there are a lot of things that are on sale but they aren't things I ...
An Easy Bread Recipe – Maybe
First off, let me tell you I have not tried this recipe but I've never had a recipe from Alexandra's Kitchen that I haven't loved so I have no reservations about sending you on a path I have not yet traveled. Second, we're not eating any processed, store bought white flour so, for me to make it would mean enough changes that it would no longer be the same recipe. She says the recipe requires no ...
A Great Craft Project
Right! There are only about 5 million "great craft projects" I would like to start but this one REALLY caught my eye! Last night I was watching Homemade on the Ridge's Flosstube (#12). The furniture store will no longer take away old furniture for free but now they charge $50 for a sofa. ...
The Maker and The Needle Progress
There is decent progress on The Maker and The Needle Progress and I am enjoying stitching it. Mine will look a bit different than the others because I obviously can't count or read! :) I do not like counting those tiny holes so I stitched some of the words and then count up from there. The base of the center tree was supposed to start over the "E" but it was the "E" in Needle . . NOT ...
Tuesday Happenings
Tuesday! What a busy day. At 4 a.m. with the wind was so noisy that it woke me up. I tried to go back to sleep but at 5, I got up and it's been a busy day. Monday is my bread making day but yesterday we were so busy working in the sewing room and getting furniture moved to make a path to move out the furniture that's leaving and switch things around. At one point I thought about getting the ...
